Off-Duty Sheriff’s Office Worker Dies In Motorcycle Crash (The Tampa Tribune)

An off-duty Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office employee died this afternoon in a motorcycle crash, deputies say. Adam J. Herrick, 25, of Palm Harbor was a civilian employee who helped detention staff with security matters at the Pinellas County Jail. He died following the 2:30 p.m. crash on U.S. 19 near Colonial Boulevard in Palm Harbor, a sheriff’s office release states.
